Number Eleven is a 200 year old labourer’s cottage in the quintessential, vibrant Cambridgeshire village of Great Gransden. We have now sympathetically renovated and extended it, bringing it right up to date to provide a luxurious base with which to explore Cambridgeshire and the East of England. Alternatively it makes an ideal base for visiting academics to Cambridge.
Number Eleven is different. Weekly lets are available as you would expect. However, minimum booking is two nights; unusual for self catering. Pamper yourself with Arbonne, Cole & Lewis and Molton Brown toiletries provided in the bathroom. Number Eleven also provides tea, coffee and cooking oil, some milk and a loaf of bread to get you started. Filtered water is available and cleaning products are environmentally friendly where possible.
Number Eleven is now proud to supply chocolates from Hotel Chocolat– and they’re local. The company has a factory in Huntingdon, less than 10 miles away and they are bought directly from there. Made by chocolatiers that live locally, some have been awarded bronze, silver and gold awards for their standard.
“One of the best little places I have rented – ever.”
“One of the best cottages we have stayed in. Everything was spotless and well equipped. The garden is fully enclosed and safe for dogs with beautiful woodland walks nearby. Andy was very welcoming and showed us around the cottage on arrival. Thanks Andy for such a lovely stay.”
