Directions & Access

From South, leave A1 at either Biggleswade and follow the back roads, or St Neots and take the A428 Cambridge. Leave at either Gransden turn (dreadful junction for line of sight) or at the Caxton Gibbet roundabout, through Caxton and left onto Gransden road.  Right at the bottom of the High St onto Gransden road. Into the village to Fox St, right onto Eltisley Rd. We are the middle terrace on the left. Look out for the orange No 11 logo.

From M11, take J13, A1303, A428 Bedford and turn left at the Caxton Gibbbet roundabout. Into the village to Fox St, right onto Eltisley Rd. We are the middle terrace on the left. Look out for the orange No 11 logo.

From North, leave A1 at Huntingdon taking A14 spur and leave at J24 Godmanchester. Follow A1198, past Caxton Gibbbet roundabout and leave to go through Caxton and right at the bottom of the High St onto Gransden road. Into the village to Fox St, right onto Eltisley Rd. We are the middle terrace on the left. Look out for the orange No 11 logo.

A14 from the east and north, past Brampton and turn right at the Spittals interchange onto the A14 proper. Follow the above directions from there.

We are situated 20 minutes down the A428 from the Maddingley Road Park and Ride into Cambridge. However, Great Gransden is perfectly positioned to be far enough away from the A428, A1 and A14 that the traffic cannot be heard. The village is not on any through or main route and enjoys relatively quiet roads. However, all main facilities are within a 2-5 minute walk of Number Eleven; we have a well-stocked shop, Post Office, pub with food (Crown & Cushion), church and playground.
